Coaches and Spectators

Minimize

Family has always been a big part of life and being successful, and we believe that holds true for athletes — especially younger ones.

So the Chicago Bandits Champions Village would like to invite you and your entire family to spend a week with us and have an experience that will be treasured for years and years to come:

  • Monday: Help move your player into the Player's Village then visit our air conditioned pro-shop and arcade while getting ready to witness opening ceremonies featuring a parade of teams, individual and team skills competitions plus a fireworks show after dark.
  • Tuesday: Softball, Softball, Softball all day long and into the evening.  Pick up lunch at our concession stand while the kids play on one of our inflatable bounce houses.
  • Wednesday:  Softball games with family night to follow.  Family night at the Chicago Bandits Champions Village features many free activities for the family.  Face-painting, air-brushed tattoos, dunk tank, giant game of twister and dodge-ball wars will be some of the included activities.  We also welcome Uncle Ernie’s award winning Nebraska BBQ with items starting at $3.00.
  • Thursday:  Pool plays continues at the Chicago Bandits Champions Village or take your family and explore Bellevue and the surrounding area, take a trip to the award winning Henry Doorly Zoo or attend an Omaha Royals Triple AAA baseball game in the evening.
  • Friday:  Make sure your camera is close by, because it's all smiles and laughs as you take in Championship Day at the Chicago Bandits Champions Village where we crown champions in the GOLD and SILVER divisions.  You’ll also be able to witness your daughter and her teammates as they are inducted into the USGS Hall of Fame. This is where proud parents and siblings get to see their athlete recognized for her achievements.

Looking for more? The city of Bellevue is near a myriad of local attractions just a short drive away, with something to entertain each member of your family. There's the Omaha Fun Plex and Water Park, the Henry Doorly Zoo and the nationally acclaimed Sky Safari. Want even more? Well, the Omaha Children's Museum, the Omaha Magic Theater and the AK.SAR.BEN Aquarium and Nature Center should keep you busy! And for those adults wanting something a little more grown up, you'll find local casinos only 15 minutes from the park. You'll hardly have time to see it all!

So when you pack for the Chicago Bandits Champions Village, bring your flip flops, your walking and playing shoes and some shorts. But most importantly, beat the system, bring your entire family, your video camera and take a lot of snap shots.
As a part of opening ceremonies, we will be holding individual and team competitions.  Make sure your team is ready!

The competitions are as follows:

Fleet Foot-One player from each team will race around the bases.  The fastest time wins.  The top three and ties will advance to the finals held on the Championship Field.  Each participant will get two chances and the best time will be recorded.
